"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"

A form of the Daedric "Lord of the Hunt" Hircine, he congratulates the Dragonborn for their kill of the White Stag. When asked by the Dragonborn if he was talking to Hircine, he replies that he is the "spirit of the hunt" and that this was "just one glimpse of the glorious stalker that you call, Hircine." Asking what he would have them do, Hircine tells the Dragonborn that their "fealty is precious to me" and that will be used to his advantage. He comments that the Dragonborn wears his his ring and that although Sinding (who had stolen the ring) had fled to the Bloated Man's Grotto where he thought he was safe from hurting anyone if his werewolf form, he is not safe and the more he tries to protect himself, the more he ends up trapped. Hircine commands the Dragonborn to kill Sinding and "tear the flesh from his body" to present to him as an "offering." He warns the Dragonborn to hurry as there are other hunters wanting to "vie for my favor" and vanishes.

After killing the hunters and letting Sinding live, Hircine congratulates the Dragonborn, who is surprised by this show of approval when he failed to fulfill the Daedra's command. But the "Lord of the Hunt" commends the ingenuity of turning the hunt on the hunters and makes a side note that the hunters who the Dragonborn had killed were no novices. Hircine tells them that he is both impressed and amused by how the Dragonborn thinks and acts and gives them both his ring and his blessing.
