The Priestess of Arkay (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

First Appearance: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Played By: ?

A Priestess of Arkay from either the Breton or Imperial race, she is devoted to her master Arkay, who is the god of funeral rites and burials. She was with the Imperial Legion when the Dragonborn, Ralof, Lokir and Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak were brought to Helgen for their execution.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"

The Priestess was asked by the Imperial Captain to "read" the Stormcloak prisoners their "last rites" before they were executed. She tells them all that their souls were being commended to the "immortal plains" of Aetherius and that they have the blessings of the Eight Divines, noting that "you are the salt and earth of Nirn." However she is cut off by a Stormcloak soldier, who demands that she "shut up" for "the love of Talos" and demands that they get his execution over with. She curtly replies to him with the phrase "as you wish" and moves away from the executioners block to watch the soldier have his head cut off by the Imperial Headsman.

When Alduin arrives and disrupts the execution- just before the Dragonborn can be executed- the whole of Helgen is thrown into panic and is burnt; with many townspeople and soldiers killed in the carnage. It was unknown whether or not she had managed to escape from the Helgen or if she had died.
