First Appearance: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Imperial born Headsman was an executioner for the Imperial
Legion, who was with them at Helgen when Ulfric Stormcloak, Ralof,
Lokir and the Dragonborn were brought to the settlement for execution
for murder and treason (although the Dragonborn was innocent) .

After one of the Stormcloak soldiers cuts the Priestess of Arkay's
“last rites” short, he tells them that “his ancestors are
smiling” and questions whether theirs are doing the same. The
Headsman wordlessly executes him and stands by as the Dragonborn is
called to the executioner's block. Just as he has the axe raised over
his head, Aludin arrives and lands on top of the stone watchtower the
stone has been set in front of. The force of the landing throws him
off his feet.As he tries to get back up Alduin uses his “Unrelenting
Force” shout, which finally kills him.
