First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Six: "Rise of the Cybermen" Played By: Andrew Hayden-Smith A young member of the Preachers born on a Parallel Earth, Jake Simmonds joined the resistance team to fight Cybus Industries after discovering the true intentions of the corporation. (At some point prior to the Doctor's arrival to the Parallel Earth he began a relationship with the Preachers leader, Ricky Smith). "Rise of the Cybermen" Jake watched from behind a burning barrel as a "International Electricomtics" van arrives in a tip and Mr. Crane tells several homeless people that it is full of free food and drink. When the last one makes his way to the van, he comes out from his hiding place and warns him not to go as they "are lying." However the homeless man comments that "it is easy for you to say" and questions when he last starved. He ignores his comment and tells him that these people are responsible for the "disappearance of people on the streets" for several months and that they are a going to take him away. When the homeless man asks him what for, Jake replies that they were going to experiment on him. However the homeless guy says that he is too hungry and goes off in the direction of the van. He starts filming Crane and the van as the men scream from inside and the doors close after them.
While Micky visits the Parallel version of his grandmother Rita-Anne, Jake grabs him and throws him into the back of the Preacher's van mistaking him for Ricky. He questions why "he" had gone to see her when he had told them not to keep contact with closest family and friends for their own safety. Confused, Micky pretends to be Ricky saying he was testing them and Jake proudly says that he filmed Cybus as they "went round Blackfriars gathering up the homeless like the child catcher." He goes on to say that four dozen people had gone missing now and Mrs. Moore finishes with the fact that they were all taken by lorries hired by "International Electricomatics." Both Jake and Mrs. Moore seem surprised that "Ricky" isn't aware that Cybus Industries were responsible for it setting up as a fake company. Upon arrival at the Preacher's base, Jake spots that someone is inside and has the light on and warns Mrs. Moore. All three cross into the building and Jake enters the room with the light on, pointing it at the real Ricky who is just as surprised to find his (lover) pointing a gun at him as his (lover)is to discover that there is two of him and has one standing in front of him and one behind him. Both Jake and Mrs. Moore turn their weapons on Mickey. Jake scans Mickey's body while Mrs. Moore analysis the data and confirms that he is "clean" and has "no bugs." Ricky is shocked and questions how it was possible to get an exact copy of himself. When Ricky suggests that Mickey could be his brother, Jake tells him to "be fair" and wonders "what else it could be." Ricky concludes that they are identical and tells them that there is something else is happening as well as at Cybus. Jake gives a small smile when Mickey questions if the Preachers were going to take down John Lumic "from your kitchen." After receiving word from "Gemini", Jake and the other Preachers pack up and follow the number of "International Electromatics" vans in their own and set up weapons in the back while Ricky drives. Ricky and Jake survey the trucks as they reach the Tyler Household and begin unloading the vans, He is horrified to see the Cybermen disembark and march forward. Upon the Cybermen's attack on the party and the Doctor's escape from the mansion- with Pete Tyler and Rose- Jake and Ricky try and shoot the Cybermen with AK-47's and are surrounded when the bullets do nothing to slow them down or harm them. The Doctor tells them to stop shooting, but Jake ignores this and fires a few more rounds before the Doctor knocks the weapon down and orders them all to "surrender." He looks horrified as the Cybermen declares their plans to upgrade all of humanity. "The Age of Steel" As the Cybermen advance, the Doctor uses the Tardis power cell to disintegrate them. Slightly taken aback he begins to run before Mrs. Moore arrives in the van and orders them all inside- getting in the front with Ricky. Jake argues the fact that they don't have weapons by angrily declaring that they are "good enough for me like him", referring to Pete Tyler and blaming him for the death of the President and the rest of "the government." Upon the mention of "Gemini" and confirmation of the channel used to contact the Preachers, Jake looks to Ricky totally confused. Jake smiles when Ricky tells them the title of London's most wanted was for "parking tickets", enjoying his attempt to justify it by wanting to tear the system apart. He is shocked when Lumic uses the Ear Pods to control the whole of London to head towards Battersea Power Station, where he has made the Cyberman's main Cyber Conversion Factory for the city. Jake and Ricky go on ahead and spot the Cybermen leading more people away. When a Cyberman patrol arrives down the far end of the street, Ricky orders Jake to act a distraction to allow the others to escape and meet up after at "Bridge Street." Reaching the rendezvous, Jake reports that he has seen more people all heading for and entering the factory and that there are "hundreds of Cybermen all down the Thames." He gets excited by arrival by one of the Smith twins, but suddenly changes to panic as he questions which "one are you." Upon learning of his (lovers)death, he turns his back on Mickey telling him to "shut it" when he tried to explain what happened and declared that he was "nothing." Seeing his reaction, the Doctor tells him that he can morn Ricky later but they need to save London first. Planning what to do next on the shore opposite the Power Plant, Jake stands away from the main group watching them. When Pete suggests using the front door, he argues that they "can't just go strolling up" and seems fascinated by Mrs. Moore's fake ear pods (originally real with the signal removed). The Doctor pulls him aside and tasks him to destroying the transmitter for the ear pods built into Lumic's zeppelin, which Jake comments that he should "consider it done" and smiles for the first time since Ricky's death. When Mickey says he is going with Jake to help, the latter aggressively calls him an "idiot" and claims he doesn't need his help. Standing up for himself, Mickey tells him that he "only wants to help" and Jake storms off with a dismissive "whatever." Climbing to the roof, he is pretty happy to see the zeppelin is guarded. He motions for Mickey to follow and tells them that they can "take them." When Mickey tells him not to kill them, he angrily snaps "who put you in charge." Listening to his response about killing would put him on the same level as a Cybermen, Jake offers to use Mrs. Moore's version of smelling salts and gives them a countdown window to complete the task. Taking them out, he grins at the idea of more guards and jokingly says that they should "go get them," boarding the airship. Aboard the ship, the two squabble over finding the "transmitter controls", with Jake sarcastically suggesting that they have a big sign in "red letters" signposting them. Reaching the front of the airship, Jake turns a gun on an offline Cyberman mistaking it for an active one which made Mickey jump. He is very uneasy with the declaration that it was an empty suit, but states that they needed to continue and find the "transmitter." Finding it in a protected case, Jake sarcastically tells Mickey that he left his "oxy-acetylene" and suggests that they could crash the zeppelin by setting it to auto-pilot and escaping before it could be destroyed. Trying to hack into the control system on the main computer, Mickey tells Jake to let him have a go and watches as he begins working. He comments that Mickey was doing a decent job, but is suddenly distracted by the Cyberman who has been reactivated. He complains that Mickey had diagnosed it as being dead and is about to shoot at it until Mickey tells him not to- causing the Cyberman to destroy both itself and the ear pod transmitter. They jump up and down and excitedly hug each other. Hacking into "Cybercontrol", Jake asks in both shock and disgust what the Cybercontroller was and addresses him as a "thing." He watches as Mickey uses the Doctor's words to get past all the codes and locate the cancellation code for the emotional inhibitors, celebrating as the Doctor uses it and Rose's phone to trigger a city wide shut down that drove the Cybermen insane. He tries to pilot the zeppelin and get it away from the power station as it goes up in flames, telling Mickey that the whole "balloon" will go up in flames as well. However Mickey persuades him to stop and help the Doctor and the others, getting into a slight shoving match until Jake eventually backed down and let him have control. He orders him to hold his mobile close to his ear and allow Mickey to call Rose to get them to escape via the roof. Jake warns him not to go any lower as he would crush them, but finds it hard not to enjoy the mission. After the defeat of the Cybercontroller, Jake joins Mickey in returning the Doctor's suit, who reveals Mrs. Moore's true name as Angela Price and asks that she find her husband and children and tell them that she died a hero. He agrees to and stands by as Mickey says goodbye to both Rose and the Doctor, choosing to stay on the Parallel Earth. He is amazed and astounded by the Tardias as it disappears. Getting back in the van, Mickey comments that he knows it will be difficult for Jake with his face being identical to Ricky's he has no intention of replacing him. (Jake comments that he could never do that and that he would never "have another boyfriend like him." Mickey expresses his surprise and jokes that he is "defiantly not replacing him")but states that they will fight in his name and the name of Mrs. Moore, which makes Jake smile. Mickey wonders whether there is a cyberfactory in Paris, stating that they will "go liberate Paris." Jake states his amusement at the prospect that it would be "you and me in a van." Mickey states that their was "nothing wrong with a van. I once saved the Universe with a big yellow truck." "Doomsday" Using specially developed teleportation devices capable of crossing dimensions, Jake and a team of soldiers from the Parallel World crossed into Earth, arriving on the top floor of the Torchwood One building in Canary Warth. He orders his troops not to move and fire at the Cybermen, who have little time to react before they are destroyed. He tells the Doctor it was "good to see him again" removing his gas mask and surprising the latter. He orders the soldiers to lock down the room and puts a fellow officer, Chrissie to monitor all communications and warns them about the constant upgrade of Cyberleader is the previous is killed. The Doctor confronts him about the fact it was not possible to travel between parallel universes, but Jake explains that Torchwood on their world had developed the technology they were currently using and asks if he wanted to see and presses his own sending them back to his world's version of Torchwood One. During Pete Tyler's explanation of the past three years, Jake comments that people objected to Cybermen being sealed within the factories as many still saw them as living beings and that they should be helped, which had given the Cybermen time to escape and cross the void into Earth. Jake follows him across the room, acting as an unfortunate dummy for the Doctor's constant tapping of the teleport disc and explaining how the power caused by this transportation is causing the world to "boil." He listens as the Doctor questions if Pete really thought he could "seal of the breach, stop th Cybermen and defeat the Dalaks" and is teleported back with the other two as the Doctor agrees he will do it. Upon their return, Jake orders his men to guard the door while the Doctor called Jackie, After hanging up, the Doctor takes Jake's gun and alters it in order that it can work on "poly-carbide", answering Jake's question of what "poly-carbide" was the fact it was Dalek-skin. Jake leads an attack with several officers and Cybermen (who they have somehow reprogrammed) in a fight against the Dalek's in the Sphere Room, manaing to rescue Mickey and Rose before getting out alive. As the door closes, the Doctor orders him to "protect the stairwell." Surviving and fighting his way to the top floor, Jake watches as the Genesis Ark releases millions of Daleks over the streets of London. He listens to the Doctor as he reveals his plan to seal the breach via pulling the Daleks and Cybermen to a Hell-like place. Taking it to be a literal Hell, Mickey makes a side note to Jake about always telling him that the Doctor was "good." He is transported away when the Doctor puts a disc on Rose, but watches as she transports back, forced to watch the backlash between Jackie and Pete when Rose makes her way back to the original Earth.

The T.A.R.D.I.S doors creak open. The Doctor walks out of time machine into a highly decorated side chamber, just near the main body of the party. It is the party from the recording (see the Psychograph Scene... coming soon)- held in the honor of the Ambassador of Thrace. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: For Bodeley's sake, don't do that. He'll be livid. The Doctor passes under the half tied curtain into the main room, followed by Chip (Cassandra's soul sharing his body) and Rose. Chip is wearing a black shall over old hospital clothes and covering up his many of his tattoos. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: Oh no, don't! Stop it! (She giggles) As Chip moves forward his eyes brighten and a smile begins to slowly appear on his face. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: That's simply not true. Tiny! Egypt was so dismal.
Cassandra is surrounded by a fairly large crowd- mostly men- who are all laughing at what she is saying. Chip looks back to the Doctor. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: And the mosquitoes, I can't tell you.... Chip: Thank you. The Doctor: Just go and don't look back. Rose: (In Chip's ear) Good luck. Chip smiles at her and gives her a polite nod, slowly making his was across the quieter side of room (most are gathered near the end). B/G- Two guests mingle with each other. A waiter passes with a loaded tray of champagne. The wall on his right has a water feature that resembles a Waterfall. He smiles as he is only a few paces away from his younger self, who is wrapping up her conversation. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: And if you actually see them, you're shocked. Cassandra (Younger): (Wags her finger at the closest guy) But don't quote me on that. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: Oh you naughty people! Cassandra (Younger): A Bientot! She grandly begins to walk away, flourishing her hand. Chip: Excuse me, the Lady Cassandra? Cassandra (Younger): I'm sorry, I don't need anything right now, I'm fine, thank you. Chip: (As Cassandra slowly turns) No, I just wanted to say. You look beautiful. Cassandra (Younger): (He smiles. Pause, thinking how to react) Well, that's very kind, you strange little thing. (Looks him up and down) Thank you very much. Chip: (Slightly taken aback, but ignores "her" own judgement) I mean it. (Steps closer to her) You look... (almost whisper) so beautiful. Her face changes, looking as though she was terribly moved by this (as though it was a long time since anyone had truly complimented her). Cassandra (Younger): (Voice is softer) Thank you. Chip exhales. His eyes close. He falls forwards as though he has lost all ability to stand. Cassandra (Younger): Oh, my Lord! (She goes down to her knees, catching him before he hits the floor) Are you alright? What is it, what's wrong? (To a guest that moves around her with a drink still in hand) Someone get some help. Call a medic or something (Other guests disperse) quickly! Female Guest- O.S: Who is he?
Cassandra (Younger): (Pulls back his hood slightly to take his pulse, revealing a few of the tattoos) I don't know, he just came up to me. Don't even know his name. He just collapsed. I think he's dying. (More people are turning their backs and walking away) Someone do something. I've got you, sweetheart (begins to cradle him, rocking him gently on her knee). It's all right. The Doctor and Rose watch on silently. Cassandra (Younger)- O.S: There you are. There you are. I've got you. Cassandra (Younger): (Almost completely alone in the middle of the room, keeping Chip company. Everyone else has ever turned their back or gone) It'll be alright. There, there. You poor little thing. The Doctor nudges Rose and they slowly walk away, Rose looks back before disappearing behind the curtain. The Doctor then looks back, his glance long.
First Appearance: Doctor Who Series One Episode Two: "The End of the World" First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Two: "New Earth" (Younger Self) Played By: Zoë Wanamaker Formally born male to a father from Texas and a mother originating from the Arctic Dessert, the Lady Cassandra O'brien.Δ17 (Dot Delta Seventeen) was a human originating from Earth many years in the far distant future. Over the years he had a sex change from male to female and had seven hundred and eight different medical procedures to preserve and alter her form until she took on the appearance of "a trampoline." As well as that she had been married at least five times in her life. At some point she had been invited to a party being held for the Ambassador of Thrace, where it was the last time anyone told her that she had looked beautiful- starting her descent into her Platform One look. "New Earth" During Rose's investigation of the lower level of the New Earth Hospital, she follows Chip to a room at the far end of the corridor where a projector is playing an old recording of the Ambassador's party. After a moment Rose realises that the woman on the screen, who is talking animatedly to a group of guests. Cassandra comments that she remembered that evening well. As a final act of mercy to Cassandra, the Doctor and Rose took Chip (who was sharing a body with her) back to that night. He watches her mingling with a group about her travels to Egypt (commenting on it being "tiny"- in her eyes) and complaints about the "mosquitoes." He thanks the Doctor, who tells her to "go and not look back" while Rose wishes them both "good luck." Chip makes his way towards her younger self as she tells the laughing group not to quote her on an unknown topic, calling them "naughty people" and calling to them "A Bientot" as she leaves. She stops as Chip addresses her, but mistakes him for a waiter at the party and tells him that she is "fine." He tells her that "she is beautiful", which she shrugs off with a feigned air of politeness, calling him a "strange little thing" and thanking him. However she is both moved and flattered (almost to tears) when he reveals that he truly meant it. Her tone changes when she sees Chip collapse before her and she holds him close, begging the guests to help him and call "a medic." She tries to ask if he is alright, while another guest asks who he was. Cassandra tells her that she didn't know and that they had just met, She shouts for someone to help, comforting her future self and her own creation as they pass away in her arms. Till their last breath, she tells them that they "will be alright... you poor little thing."
First Appearance: Doctor Who Series One Episode Two: "The End of the World" (Cassandra) Doctor Who Series Two Episode Two: "New Earth" (Chip) Played By: Sean Gallsgher The force grown clone of the Lady Cassandra O'Brien to work for her as her personal servant, Chip was willing host for the psychografted soul of Cassandra after she released Rose Tyler's body. "New Earth" Upon the: defeat of "The Flesh", the arrest of the remaining Sisters of Plenitude and the teleportation of the Face of Boe, the Doctor demands that Cassandra leaves Rose's body. However she begins to cry stating that she "doesn't want to die" and asks for his help. She is excited to see that Chip had survived, who tells her that "he had kept himself clean for you." Realising what he had said, the Doctor orders Cassandra not to use Chip as "a volunteer" as he "has a life of his own." Chip counters this with the fact that he "worships" her and that he would gladly "welcome her." She relinquishes her control of Rose and passes into Chip's body. Examining himself, Cassandra comments that she looked like "a walking doodle." The Doctor tells him that "you can't stay in there", proposing to take her to New New York and "build a skin tank" in order to "stand trial for what you've done." He jokes that this request sounded dramatic, calling it "my finest hour" and that he was wearing "his finest hat." He continuous to tell them that they have little time due to the stress put on Chip, having read his mind and feel his vitals, "being a half life" and notes that his heart was "failing". She begins to wonder if Chip will last much longer when he suddenly collapses. The Doctor and Rose catches him and Cassandra understands that both herself and Chip are "dying", but calmly accepts the fate. The Doctor tries to persuade him to go with them to "the city", but she comments everything on the planet is "new" and that "there is no place for Chip and me anymore." He tells the Doctor that he is "right" and that it was "time to die." The Doctor says he can do one final thing for her. The Doctor takes Cassandra back to the night of a party for the Ambassador of Thrace, where he sees her former self conversing with a throng of laughing guests enjoying her complaints about "Egypt... and the Mosquitoes." Overwhelmed, he thanks the Doctor who tells her to "just go and not look back." Rose wishes him good luck and he gives her a kind nod, before making his way towards the younger Cassandra. As she leaves calling them "naughty people" and grandly wishing them "A biantot", Chip addresses her (herself), who thinks he is part of the staff at the party and tells him that she didn't "need anything right now, I'm fine, thank you." Stopping her, he tells her that "you look beautiful". The younger Cassandra thinks little of this comment, but thanks him by saying that was "very kind, you strange little thing." He goes on that he meant it, taking a step towards her and sincerely tells her that "you look... so beautiful." Moved she thanks him before he suddenly collapses right in front of her. She asks him if he is alright, holding onto him and demanding that someone can help him and call a "medic." Another guest asks who "he" was and Cassandra reveals that she didn't know and that she didn't "even know his name". She brushes his head gently, whispering that it "was alight. I've got you." She comforts him as her older self dies along with him, rocking him slightly on her knees and soothingly calling him "a poor little thing."
First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Two: "New Earth" Played By: Dona Croll The Cat-Kind head of the Sisters of Plenitude, Matron Casp worked at the New Earth Hospital where she headed up experiments on specially grown humans- which they viewed as just being "Flesh"- in the Intensive Care ward. She died in the year 5,000,000,023 when she was infected by all of the diseases known in the galaxy before plummeting down a lift shaft. "New Earth" Matron Casp joins the Doctor as he spoke with the Duke of Manhattan about the fact that he was cured from Petrifold Regression (which was thought not to have a cure for at least 1000 years later), where she comments that though "primitive species would accuse us of magic" it was due to the "tender application of science." The Doctor questions how she was capable of curing him, but she merely jests about "how on New Earth you might say" and claiming that the solution in the drip near the Duke was a "simple remedy". She denies the Doctor the formula, claiming it to be "patient confidentiality" before introducing herself to him. She remarks coldly that they were the Doctors in the facility after hearing the Doctor's name as a title. Sister Jatt arrives and tells her that she is needed in Intensive Care. The two depart after excusing herself, where Jatt begins to report that one of the "patients" had gained "consciousness." Casp tells her that "we can't have that" as they make their way to the ward. Casp listens as Jatt informs her of the "Flesh's" crying during a "blood wash", showing her the specimen. She looks slightly shocked at the "Flesh" as it begs for their help, commenting that "it's" eyes are "positively sparkling" and wondering how it was possible for it to be able to speak. After Jatt finishes telling her about Sister Corvin's thesis, she tells Jatt that she has seen enough and begins to walk away. The two discuss the review of "brianstem policy" if their is another incident, before telling Jatt to carry out "standard procedure" are "incinerate" the Flesh. Matron Casp and Sister Jatt respond to the alarm- which Cassandra (in Rose's body) sets off- where they run into Novice Hame on the way to fetch her. As she begins to tell her the situation, Matron calmly orders Hame to leave everything to them and return to her duties. Casp asks Cassandra if there was anything that "they could do to help," who skips pleasantries and calls her "whiskers." She demands that the Sisters of Plenitude give her money, but Casp rebuttals by saying that "the Sisterhood is a charity", which gladly accepts money but never gives it away. She refuses to Cassandra's demands for money and a yacht and tells her that there is no reason for her to reconsider the deal. When Cassandra challenges Casp about telling the City and N.N.Y.P.D about the experiments and asking how she was going to stop them the Sisters were not armed, Casp snarls the question "who needs arms when you have claws." She is taken aback by the release of "The Flesh" and is even more amazed that "the Flesh" were capable of speaking and "constructing an argument." As they withdraw her surprise turns to horror as one of "the Flesh" uses kills itself to release the others from their pods. She is unable to save Jatt from being touched, forcing her to flee. As she reaches the exit, Casp uses a phone to contact the main hospital and order the building to be put in a state of "quarantine." Casp had the same idea that the Rose and the Doctor (now Cassandra) had and began to climb a lift shaft to escape the lower levels. Upon seeing them, she angrily grabs Rose's leg and blamed her for the destruction of both the Sister's reputation and the release of "The Flesh." Cassandra snaps that she should "go play with a ball of string." As she declares that the "Human World" is nothing but "sickness," Casp is touched by one of "the Flesh" who infects her with the diseases. She is subjected to extreme agony and releases the ladder, causing her to fall to her death screaming .
First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Two: "New Earth" Played By: Adjoa Andoh A member of Sister's of Plenitude, the Cat-kind Sister Jatt worked for the New Earth Hospital (just outside the city of New New York) where she was charged with overseeing and monitoring the experiments that the Sister's were carrying out on their "Lab Rats" in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital (hidden from knowledge and off all records). She was killed by one of her own "experiments" when a member of "The Flesh" touched her and contracted her with all the diseases that the galaxy were aware of by the year 5,000,000,023. "New Earth" Sister Jatt escorted the Doctor to Ward 26 (her veil covering her face at first), while listening to his comments that although the place "looks nice" it needed a "little shop." Removing her veil she remarks that "a hospital is a place for healing." She ignores his continued attempt of conversation about the shop and explains about the Sister of Plenitude's work and aim to heal the sick of New Earth. She watches Frau Clovis berate the Doctor before moving him along to follow her request for the Duke of Manhattan to have "a little privacy." She comments that the Duke will be "back on his feet in no time", which the Doctor sees as unlikely since the illness that the Duke was admitted with (Petrifold Regression) was at that time supposedly incurable and he would be a statue. She tells him to "have faith in the Sisterhood", before asking whether or not he recognised a patient in the ward and commenting that it is unusual for her to get a request about visiting a patient without knowing who the patient is. However the Doctor tells her that he knows who he is looking for after spotting the Face of Boe at the far end of the ward. When the Doctor reaches the Face of Boe, Jatt tells Novie Hame to take care of the Doctor. Before she leaves the Doctor asks her if she can locate Rose at the reception (who had been separated from the Doctor and possessed by the Lady Cassandra O'Brian) which she says she will do. During the Doctor's conversation with Matron Casp at the bedside of the now cured Duke of Manhattan, Sister Jatt appears and tells her that she is needed in the Intensive Care ward. As they walk away she reports to her that another patient has become "conscious", which Casp replies is something that should not be allowed to happen. Inside the Intensive Care Ward Jatt begins explaining to Casp that during a "blood-wash" one of "The Flesh" began crying, opening the pod to survey the "specimen." As "The Flesh" begs for their help, she tells Casp to notice the life in "it's" eyes. Casp asks how the Flesh was capable of "having a vocabulary", to which Jatt replies by noting a thesis written by a fellow Sister- Sister Corven- about "the migration of Sentience," making a side comment that the paper was "well worth a read." Closing the pod on "the Flesh", the two discus reviewing their "brain stem policy" if another incident happens. Questioning what she should do with the latest specimen, Casp orders her to follow the "standard procedure" and incinerate it, which she carries out before following Casp. Sister Jatt and Matron Casp respond to the alarm that Cassandra (in Rose's body) sets of and goes to confront her in the Ward. She listens to Cassandra's blackmail attempt, typing on her communicator but stops when the latter calls it "institutional murder." They watch as the first row of Flesh is woken up, where Jatt suggests that they withdraw before they are infected. They listen as one the Flesh tells them that they have learned about what and how the Sister's had infected them with and commits suicide in order to free the other Flesh from their pods. She expresses terror as she realises that the Flesh are all free and swears that they are free in the name of the Goddess Santori. She is backed into a corner, where she tries to bat them away with her paws. However one of the Flesh touches her face and she is infected almost immediately, dying in agony.
First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Two: "New Earth" (Mentioned Only) A cat-kind nurse dedicating her life to the Sisters of Plenitude, Sister Corvin worked at the New Earth Hospital outside New New York, where she helped create "The Flesh" in an effort to aid the Sister's mission in curing the sick of New Earth. She wrote a "thesis on the migration of Sentience" she had named "The Echo of Life" after the discovery of several cases of "The Flesh" began to speak and cry. "New Earth" While Sister Jatt is showing Matron Casp the latest case of one of "the Flesh" having consciousness, Jatt replies to the Casp's question of how a forced grown human can have a "vocabulary" by telling her of Corvin's thesis and remarking that it was "well worth a read," before closing the pod and carrying out incineration of the latest "case."
Surviving and fighting his way to the top floor, Jake watches as the Genesis Ark releases millions of Daleks over the streets of London. He listens to the Doctor as he reveals his plan to seal the breach via pulling the Daleks and Cybermen to a Hell-like place. Taking it to be a literal Hell, Mickey makes a side note to Jake about always telling him that the Doctor was "good."
