First Appearance: Doctor Who Series Two Episode Four "School Reunion"
Played By: John Leeson
The latest model of the K-9 unit built after the previous one sacrificed itself to blow up the Krillitanes and Deffry Vale High School by the Doctor, he was a present for Sarah Jane Smith and was left in her care after he left Earth with Rose Tyler and Mickey Smith in the Tardis.
Around a year and a half before Sarah Jane adopted Luke Smith and began saving the world his aid and the aid of his friends- Maria, Clyde and (later) Rani- K-9 was forced to leave Earth and watch over an artificially created black hole (made in deep space by members of human race in Switzerland), where he has very little contact to his "mistress" or "master." Although he is still capable of visiting Earth in an emergency.
"Journey's End"
When the Doctor asks Mr. Smith to use the power from the Rift in Cardiff- sent by the Torchwood team via their Rift Manipulator- Mr. Smith informs him that he is unable to do so without having "remote access to Tardis basecode numerals." The Doctor remarks that getting the number to Mr. Smith will be a long process, however Sarah Jane tells him to let her do it.
From the Tardis, Sarah Jane orders K-9 back to Earth, who follows his orders with his usual phrase "affirmative mistress." Luke watches as the Doctor calls him a "good dog" and orders him to transfer the basecode. Following his instructions, K-9 remarks that "the process is simple", which makes many of the "Children of Time" amused.
K-9 stays with Luke during the planet's tow back into its rightful place in the Universe, who wraps his arms around him and cheers excitedly.

The Psychic Servant (Doctor Who Series Four)
Played By: Amy Beth Hayes
A young albino servant working within the Shadow Proclamation, she had some form of psychic powers and the ability to see both into the future and past.
"The Stolen Earth"
The servant snaps Donna back into the present as she zones out while waiting for the Doctor during their time at the Shadow Proclamation, listening to the sound of a heartbeat inside her head (the sound of the meta-crisis Doctor's heart), offering her a bowl of water. She claims that she "needs sustenance" and that she should drink the water as it "purifies." Donna thanks her but is suddenly taken aback by the servant commenting about how she had "something on your back" (referring to the time beetle) and asks how she could know that. She ignores the question and tells her that she is "something new". Donna replies that she is nothing more than a "temp. Shorthand, filing, 100 words per minute" and that it was "fat lot of good that is now. I'm no use to anyone." The servant tells her that she is "so sorry for her loss", which Donna thinks is referring to the fact that the whole of Earth has been taken (by Davros and his new Dalek army grown from the very flesh of it's original creator). However the servant whispers that she meant "the loss that has yet to come" and hurries past her up the stairs (where Donna had been sitting) with the final comment of "God save you."
The Fox (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe)
Played By: Rupert Everett
One of the talking animals of Narnia, the Fox was born during the reign of the "White Witch"- Jadis, the self proclaimed Queen of Narnia.
At some point prior to the arrival of the Pevensie children, the Fox was recruited to join Aslan's army of "rebels" seeking to take back Narnia and free it from her endless Winter. One of his responsibilities was to personally find new troops for their cause.
"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe"
The fox met the Pevensie children (Susan, Lucy and Peter) outside Badger's house, where he hears Peter ask what had happened after seeing the stone statues of the former residents. He answers, telling them that "this is what becomes those who cross the witch" and creeps out of the woods where he had been watching them and stands outside one of the higher up houses (that have been cut into the mountain).
Mr. Beaver has to be restrained by Mrs. Beaver, who angrily snaps that "you take one step closer traitor, I'll chew you to splinters." However the Fox laughs this off and tells him to "relax" as he was "one of the good guys." Beaver is unconvinced and points out that he "looked an awful lot like one of the bad ones," but the Fox remarks the it was an "unfortunate family resemblance". Hearing Maugrim and his secret police trying to pursue them through the barreled off tunnel, he tells them that they have to move and slyly smiles when Peter questions what "he had in mind".
Acting as a distraction while the Pevensie children and Beavers hide in a nearby tree, the Fox greets Maugrim with an enthusiastic good evening and politely asking if they had "lost something" while the rest of his pack circle him. Maugrim harshly barks that he shouldn't "patronize me" and declares that he knew whose side he was on. He tells them that he is looking for the children and gets furious when the Fox jokes about that being "valuable information". He is attacked by one of the wolves, who bites his flank and lifts him off the ground for Maugrim to interrogate further. He darkly tells him that his "reward is his life" and mockingly tells him that it "isn't much". Asking him again, the Fox tells them that the "fugitives" have gone North. He is tossed aside as the pack continue their hunt.
Mrs. Beaver tends to his wounds as the Fox explains about how the animals had been "helping" Mr. Tumnus before the police and the Witch had gotten to them first. Lucy asks him if he was "alright" and he replies rather jovially that "he wish that he could say that his bark was worse than his bite", but yelps in pain. Mrs. Beaver demands that he stops "squirming" and compares him to Beaver on his bath day (who makes a side note that it was the worst day of the year). He thanks her for her help, but tells her that he is unable to get any more aid as his mission to get more troops needs to be completed, telling Lucy that it had been both "a pleasure and an honor" to meet them. The Beavers ask him excitedly what Aslan was like and he declares like he was everything the old stories had made him out as being. He comments that the children should be happy to have Aslan on their side during the upcoming war, but Susan defiantly says that they weren't going to battle. He asks them what they intended to do about the prophecy and Mr. Beaver says sadly that they can't go to war without them. Peter tells him that all they wanted to do was get Edmund back.
Leaving the children as they went to Beruna, the Fox began gathering more of the Witches enemies to join the army in the Shuddering Wood, but was caught by Maugrime. He was dragged before the Queen, who sarcastically thanks him for telling them the wrong direction the children had went in and mockingly tells him that "it was nice of you to drop in." The fox begs forgiveness to "your majesty" and the Queen orders him not to "waste my time with flattery." However he defiantly answers her by saying that he wasn't being "rude" but "he wasn't actually talking to you" and looks in the direction of Edmund. Realising what he meant, she angrily demands where the "humans" were going but he doesn't answer the question. Edmund stops her advancing on him by telling her that they were heading to the Stone Table, thinking it would save his life, but only ends up to making him sigh and shake his head in disappointment. She thanks him and happily tells him that "it was nice for this creature to see some honesty... before he dies." She uses her wand to turn him into stone mid bound to Edmund's protest. She smacks him across the face telling him to "think about whose side he was on" directing Edmund in the Foxes general direction to show him what she saw in her eyes was the losing side.
He is brought back to "life" and is present at the children's coronation, where he stands beside the lioness (that Edmund had drawn on when he first arrived at the Queen's place) at the front of the hall of Cair Paravel. He joins in with the cheering, laughing at the lioness' face that has been permanently drawn on with a piece of charcoal.

Cosmo (Guardians of the Galaxy)
Played By: Fred the Dog
A former canine member of a U.S.S.R Space program that originated on the planet Terra (known to the locals as Earth), Cosmo was somehow obtained by the Collector-Taneleer Tivan, who locked him behind a glass display case and made him one of the exhibits in his private Museum on the mining colony of Nowhere (in the severed head of a Celestial).
"Guardians of the Galaxy"
During Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot and Rocket's visit to the Tivan Museum- the home of the "largest collection of Fauna, Relics and Species of all manor"- to sell him the Orb, Cosmo is alert in his exhibit and growls at Rocket as he passes the display case. Rocket retorts in the same fashion, but leaves him barking as the four outlaws (not yet official the Guardians of the Galaxy) follow Carina to meet the Collector.
After Carina's attempt to kill Tivan with the Power Stone backfired, causing her body to disintegrate and then explode in a blast of purple energy that tore through the museum and destroyed much of the building and the exhibits, Cosmo managed to survive the blast and scampered off into Knowhere.
Returning to Tivan later, Cosmo begins licking the Collector's face while the recovering owner is drinking. He doesn't receive a reaction and pathers off while Howard comments that it was "gross" that Tivan would "let him lick you like that."
Howard the Duck (Guardians of the Galaxy)
Played By: Seth Green
A being taking on the form of an anthropomorphic duck, Howard the duck was one of the many specimens that Taneleer Tivan had obtained and put on display in his private museum in the head of a Celestial that became the mining community of Knowhere.
"Guardians of the Galaxy"
Howard was one of the many exhibits that the Collector had on display when Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket and Groot arrived to sell him the Orb.
After the discovery that the Orb was a containment unit for the Power Stone, Carina grabbed the stone in order to use it's powers to escape from his services and kill her master. The energy releases and the explosion that tore through her body destroyed much of the museum and his collection.
Howard managed to survive the attack and sat watching his "owner" in the remnants of one of the old exhibits holding an identical green cup that Tivan was drinking from. When Cosmo licked Taneleer's face, Howard questions why he would "let him do that" and calls it "gross" in a very disgusted tone, taking a long drink from the cup.

Nelacar (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)
Formally an Altmer student of the Mage's College in Winterhold who had been asked to leave after several failed experiments that ended badly, Nelacar has since been residing in the Frozen Hearth inn. He had left Winterhold completely but decided to move back.
He had been living there for some time, where he got on fairly well with the innkeeper, Dagur. Dagur cared for Nelacar's safety and declared that is he ever had any trouble from the other patrons, he should tell him and he would deal with it.
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
After being told by Aranea Ienith to look for "an elven mage able to turn the brightest star as black as night" that she had seen in a vision and that they should go to the "fortress endangered by water, yet untouched by it," the Dragonborn investigates Winterhold and discovers both Nelacar's identity and residence while talking to the local villagers.
Upon his arrival in the Frozen Hearth Inn, the Dragonborn hears Dagur (the innkeeper) exasperatedly confronts Nelacar over his latest experiment that had created a foul smell and a large explosion and asks what he actually did. Nelacar replies that it was just a simple "miscalculation", which he has "already corrected for future experiments." Dagur tells him that it was these types of magical disasters that made people dislike both magic and the College.
Upon talking to him, Nelacar tells the Dragonborn that he hadn't been at the Collge for years but still chose to live nearby. He goes on to tell them that Dagur and him have an "understanding" that allows him to board at the inn and carry out his experiments- but in return he has to make sure that the experiments don't result in his inn being destroyed. He claimed that due to his proximity to old colleagues, his research keeps him busy but he had lots of sources and data to work with.
Moving on from the pleasantries, the Dragonborn asks him about "the elven mage". He gets very suspicious and questions who sent them. Telling Nelacar it was Azura who sent him, he declares that his past has "finally come back to haunt him." He asks the Dragonborn about their knowledge of soul gems. Stating that they are used for Enchanting purposes, Nelacar states that soul gems are "frail" since they are used up after the enchantment is completed. However he mentions that only one can withstand the magic and not be broken down- Azura's Star.
Nelacar explains that Azura's star is a Daedric artifact that had the capacity to absorb multiple souls, which several people wanted to discover how this was possible. He explains he had worked under Malyn Varen, Nelacar reveals that the two of them attempted to alter the star so that he could use it's power to save himself from an imminent death (as he was suffering from a disease) and become immortal. Malyn was driven to insanity, which led to the death of several students and his eventual excommunication from the College. He tells the Dragonborn that he took himself, the star and his most loyal followers to Ilinalta's Deep before vanishing. Nelacar pleads with the Dragonborn not to bring the star back to Azura as he claims that the "Daedra are evil" and they are "the reason Malyn went insane."
Asking about Malyn's work, Nelacar explains that Azura's star was only capable of storing the white souls of animals and that her magic stopped any mortal souls from passing into the artifact. Malyn worked on a method of unlocking the full potential of the star. He goes on with an explanation of how Malyn went insane: he began to see and hear things that had were not there or said until one day he killed one of the students, using her soul to continue with the project. He remarks that College would deem Azura's revenge to being deserved, but wonders how many lives had been cut short to enact the Daedra's will. He claims that mortals were just "pawns to move around, praise and punish as they see fit.
When the Dragonborn returned with the broken star, Nelacar is surprised that they had actually found it. He muses that he might actually be able to change the fate of the artifact. He states that he can finish Malyn's work and cut the star off from Azura so that the star could only absorb black souls. The Dragonborn decided to give him the star, who takes the star over to his desk and examines it. Upon finishing, he remarks that the cracks and fissures in the star looked as if Malyn had was more hasty with his work and treated the star more roughly. However he suddenly realises that Malyn's work was successful and that he had managed to trap his soul within the star. However he reveals that the star isn't stable and that it needs more souls to "sustain itself" and that the star is keeping Malyn "alive." He tells the Dragonborn that he is unable fix the star with Malyn's soul still inside.
He agrees with the Dragonborn's comment that they need to try and remove Malyn's soul, but claims that he is unable to remove the soul by a simple enchantment, due to Malyn's own barriers that prevented souls from being extracted- only absorbed. However he concluded that he could potentially get a soul into the star and end the soul permanently- arguing that he was already dead.He says that they need to stop it from fading and letting it return to Azura's hands in Oblivion.
Nelacar tells the Dragonborn that he could soul trap them and send them within the star so he can finish Malyn and then lift the enchantments from the inside. The soul trap that he could use would not kill him, promising that he would release them once the job is done.
The Dragonborn questions Nelacar about his own fate- wondering if his fate will be the same as Malyn's. However Nelacar simply says that Malyn is "beyond help because he's dead" so it won't trap the Dragonborn because they still have a body to return to. He goes on to say that Malyn is little more than a ghost and that killing him will release the star.
Telling him that they are ready, the Dragonborn is sent into the star with Nelacar's soul trap: being warned before he went that it would "sting" as he needed to grab his soul and take a "deep breath."
Upon the death of Malyn, Nelacar contacts the Dragonborn and tells them that he will remove them from the star before he too was lost. Back at the Frozen Hearth, Nelacar tells the Dragonborn to take it easy and that the feeling of numbness "would pass." He tells them that they had done it and congratulates the Dragonborn for cutting off the star from Azura. The Dragonborn asks what they should do with the star and Nelacar tells them that they can keep it, so he can "end that chapter in his life" and happily tells the Dragonborn that he has achieved something that not many people had done and "altered the fate of a Daedric item and lived."
Alternate Reality:
When the Dragonborn returns to Nelacar after defeating Malyn on behalf of Azura, he coldly tells the Dragonborn that he has no time for the worshipers of the Azura.
